  1. Saw you had a new post and saved it so I could listen with my Monday morning coffee. So funny. πŸ™‚

My husband just brought home TURKEYS this weekend. One day in the fall my dogs may be eating a little bit of them. I hate thinking about it but…

    1. My mom’s place is full of wild turkeys this year. They are bold & brazen and apparently don’t realize there’s a major turkey shortage anticipated this Thanksgiving. πŸ˜‰

      Thanks so much for listening!!!

      1. Our friend order a white commercial breed for us (I would have splurged and went heritage–a lot more expensive, I guess). Our type can’t reproduce. If we do it again we’ll get a less modified type.

I hadn’t realized what big eyes they have and how curious and friendly they’d be–they smell awful though.

      2. I know you already know this but poultry are very lively animals with distinct personalities. The bigger, the livelier, it seems. I stopped eating duck (not that I ate that much anyway) because I could see the individual too clearly. Good luck with your daily encounter with Thanksgiving! (Smell? Really? I wonder why?)

    1. Thanks so much, Cynthia!!! I am especially honored to receive that compliment from a professional broadcaster! πŸ™‚ PS, won’t be posting daily but hope to get around to weekly some time soon. Thank you for the follow!

  2. Snorts. Hilarious my friend. Awesome that you did that. Great job. You see I can relate to this. Come closer to the computer – some places sell pig ears! I know – I know. The horror of that. I know you can imagine. Can you believe that? I’m as shocked as your ducks with their situation. I saw we stand up and rise above. XOXO – Bacon
